This workshop will cover the basic biology of plant propagation using vegetative methods of layering and cuttings. The focus will be on how to understand these propagation techniques and the principles of timing. Live plant materials will be used for demonstration. Classes are held in a greenhouse, but dress for outdoor weather and bring a pair of pruning snips if you have them. Recommended for ages 15 and older.

NOTE: Division will be covered in the Making More by Division class on October 04, 2011. Participants will go home with divisions. Seed sowing methods will be covered in the Vegetable Gardening class on February 13, 2012. Participants will go home with seed plantings.
