Learn how trees can teach history. Looking at annual growth rings, participants will discuss the life history of the tree based on environmental changes. Participants will also be able to map their own time line on a tree cookie provided for them. This activity will also teach participants how to identify heartwood, sapwood, inner bark, outer bark, cambium, and phloem.
Children and adults MAY attend individual classes. AN ADULT MUST ACCOMPANY EACH YOUTH PARTICIPANT.
