Learn basic techniques for identifying the trees in our area. In this session participants will discuss identifying characteristics such as overall shape, leaf margins and textures as well as fruits, flowers, and bark. Activities will include a mystery tree hunt using clues identified by participants and a group relay activity involving tree classification and categorizing.

Classes meet – 7/10, 17, 24, 31

Children and adults MAY attend individual classes. AN ADULT MUST ACCOMPANY EACH YOUTH PARTICIPANT.
