Begin composting as a family. Many of us are unaware of our ability to recycle and reuse on a small scale. Composting is too often thought of as a large scale operation. In this session participants will discover what items from everyday activities can be composted and the process of decomposing. We will also discuss the benefits of composted material and how it can be used in the garden. Ideas for backyard compost bin construction will be discussed.

Classes meet – 7/10, 17, 24, 31

Children and adults MAY attend individual classes. AN ADULT MUST ACCOMPANY EACH YOUTH PARTICIPANT.
