Things May Be Changing. But Our Love for Local Remains.

Count on Me NC Badge for JCVB, Smithfield, NC.Johnston County's tourism partners, just like many members of the industry across NC and the world, are often made up of local, family-owned, small businesses with owners and employees who are our neighbors and friends. In this unprecedented time of uncertainty, we must remain #JoCoStrong as members of this amazing shared community we love - business owners, residents, and visitors alike.

The VisitJoCo Team has worked to compile listings of how our restaurants, shops, and attractions are working to continue to serve patrons while following all government mandates and maintaining as a top priority the health and safety of customers. This #JoCoStrong page will be updated as often as is possible with information as it is made available. In addition, we're working with the state to encourage both business owners and guests to take the Count On Me NC Pledge to help keep us all safe and healthy.

Life, work, and leisure in Johnston County (JoCo) is sure to look different as we move forward with NC’s reopening plan.  The recovery from and the impact of the COVID-19 crisis will be felt by much of our JoCo community and it will be months until things feel normal, but through it all, we are #JoCoStrong. We'll get through this together!
