Kenly, NC (March 24th, 2016) - The Tobacco Farm Life Museum was recently awarded a $6,500 grant from the Duke Energy Foundation. The project grant was awarded to the museum for the creation of an Agriculture Summer Camp to take place in July of this year. The Tobacco Farm Life Museum is looking for educators who are interested in participating in developing and assisting with programming. Stipends are available. If you are interested in volunteer work, the Tobacco Farm Life Museum will also be holding meetings for potential candidates. The meetings will be on Thursday, March 31st and Saturday, April 2nd from 10am-12pm at the Tobacco Farm Life Museum in Kenly. Individuals who have volunteered in the past or individuals who are interested in volunteering this summer are welcome to attend.
