(Selma, NC) – After being away over 12 years, Gaylon Pope and SweetWater return to The Rudy Theatre in Selma Saturday, September 6, 2014, as part of their national touring act. Gaylon Pope, former vocalist & Emcee for the American Music Jubilee, returns home to The Rudy Theatre for one night only.
“It’s been over 12 years since I last performed on the American Music Jubilee stage," said Pope, "so in a sense it’s somewhat like a homecoming show for me. I have fond memories of my years in Selma and the American Music Jubilee Show, and I hope all our friends in Johnston County and surrounding areas will come out to visit with me.”Gaylon Pope & SweetWater are national touring artists represented by CenterStage Entertainment. The group markets four CD recordings, including a Gospel CD that has become one of their best sellers and is schedule for a new project next year.
