Raleigh, NC (November 10th, 2015) - On October 29th, Kaylin Roberson signed a single release recording deal with DSE (Deep South Entertainment) Music Group. At 16 years old, Kaylin won the Deep South Bar's Open Mic Competition, beating out hundreds of talented area musicians over the course of the 11 month contest. She is the youngest champion in the venue's history. The prize is a recording contract, festival appearances, gear, and more. Kaylin's single from the recording deal will be out next May, so stay tuned!
Kaylin is not originally from Johnston County, but you may have seen her performing and spending time regularly in the area. She won Clayton Teen Idol this year and preformed at The Farm Food Truck Rodeo. Kaylin often performs at Johnston County establishments and festivals and she thinks of it as a second home.
The Deep South team announced Kaylin's contract signing on their website and are excited to work with her. She is a very talented young lady and has made it to the 3rd round of the XFactor and the 2nd round of NBC’s America’s Got Talent. Kaylin certainly has a bright future as a musician representing the Triangle area.
