The 301 Endless Yard Sale, founded in Johnston County to showcase the Selma Antique District, is in its 7th year in 2019! Taking place the third weekend in June each year, the sale continues to grow with new vendors and more shoppers participating each year.
This year’s sale will be Friday the 14th and Saturday the 15th of June from around 7AM to 5PM each day. Serious antiquers, DIY hobbyists, yard sale lovers, and people just looking for a good deal come from all over the country to shop the 100 plus miles along Hwy 301 in North Carolina. Previous year’s have seen shoppers from Florida, Michigan, Oklahoma, New York, and more.
As if 2 full days of yard sale and over 100 miles wasn’t enough, Selma has decided to add a special day for vendors and shoppers who might want to come in a little early. Since it all started with the Selma antique scene, the town and the local antique dealers have decided to host a special event just for 301 Endless Yard Sale participants interested in what those businesses have to offer; it’s called Selma Preview Day.
On Thursday the 13th, come in ahead of the crowds to preview the best selections at Selma’s antique and collectible shops along Raiford, Anderson and Railroad Streets. Store owners work to build-up their inventory in preparation for the sale each year, and visitors to Preview Day will get to peruse the stores first.
Participating businesses include:
-Country Boy Antiques & Bottle Shop
Stores will be open on the 13th from 9AM to 5PM. Selma is located right on Hwy 301 and is Exit 97 off I-95. You can learn more about Selma here. Also, if you’re coming in early for Preview Day and staying through Saturday for the sale, be sure to check out our hotel deals – special rates at area hotels along the route for the dates of the sale.
Happy Hunting, and don’t forget to share your finds with us; post pictures of you with your treasures on Facebook and Instagram using #301EndlessYardSale.
