After the recent announcement of the Fling at Norwalk, the Fling Team is adding more excitement to their schedule by including a Door Car-only race for 2025 hosted at GALOT Motorsports Park in Benson, NC through October 14-18.

"As a racer, there is something special about being surrounded by all-door cars in the staging lanes,” explained promoter Peter Biondo. “And who doesn't like wheel-standing door cars in October weather?"

GALOT Motorsports Park will now host two Fling events in 2025. Series co-promoter Emily Biondo expressed excitement about adding a fifth event, believing in their team's ability to make each Fling feel as special as the others. “It’s going to be challenging, but after 15 years, our team is ready for it.”

The partnership between GALOT Motorsports Park and The Flings Race Series dates back to 2017. "We are super excited to host the first-ever all Door Car Fling," said track manager Josh Peake. "2024 was my first time working with the Fling Team. They definitely exceeded my expectations and we look forward to more events together."
