The Public Library of Johnston County & Smithfield is collaborating with the Johnston County NC Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Volunteers to offer a series of gardening classes at the library in 2025!

Join us to learn about hydroponics - the latest trend in gardening, where plants are grown in a nutrient rich water solution, not in soil. The classes are led with expert guidance and appeal to beginners, experienced gardeners, families, youth, and adults interested in gardening, specific plants, or sustainable practices.
