Started in 1976, the Boys & Girls club of Johnston county (formerly the My Kids Club) Railroad Days 5K is the oldest 5K in North Carolina. We hosts this event each September as part of Selma's Railroad Days Festival. Our runners and walkers take on a fast course through downtown Selma, followed by a fun Caboose Run for the kids.

All event proceeds benefit the Boys and Girls club afterschool education programs in Selma and Smithfield.
