Details
One Saturday a month we have demonstrations and displays of traditional arts, crafts, and trades. These demonstrations are included with your regular admission unless otherwise noted. Activities take place from 10 am-3 pm (unless otherwise noted) on the following Saturdays in 2023.
Activities are subject to vendor/demonstrator participation and weather. Programming is subject to change.
- January 21st - Traditional Trades: Blacksmithing Blacksmithing demonstrations will take place every third Saturday
- February 25th - Children's Jewelry Class*
- March 25th - Working the Land: Packhorse Field Plowing
- April 15th - Fabric Arts Class: Quilting (Part 1)*
- May 20th - Fabric Arts Class: Quilting (Part 2)*
- June 16th & 17th - Endless Yard Sale: Johnston County Endless Yard Sale
- Week of July 24th - AgCamp: Children ages 7-12*
- August 12th - Antique Tractor Club/Farmer Appreciation
- September 9th - Tying and Stringing: Preparing Crops for Market
- October 7th - 40th Anniversary Celebration
- November 4th - Traditional Activities: Candle Making for the Kids
- December 1st (Friday) - Country Christmas Celebration
- December 2nd - Kenly Christmas on Main: Holiday décor and activities Downtown Kenly
*Two weeks advanced registration required, minimal fee to participate.
