Enjoy a One Day Workshop focusing on the Charm and Nostalgia of the NC Farm with JJ Jiang

In this one-day workshop, you'll be using watercolors to create a beautiful farm landscape painting. Beyond that, you will learn a tremendous amount of watercolor fundamentals. Focus will be given to the wet-on-wet technique of watercolor and on the following topics.

• Shapes and Edges-creating beautiful shapes
• Values and Color
• Drawing
• Light and Atmosphere

JJ 's fresh approach to watercolor inspires students and encourages them to experiment with new techniques and ideas! JJ will begin with a brief introduction to watercolors and do a step-by-step demonstration from a photo reference. After JJ's demo, students will the remainder of the class time working on their own painting from a photo while JJ provides one on one instructions tailored to your level. He will provide the photos to paint from Tor wrap up, JJ will have a brief criitque and a questions and answers session.

JJ Jiang is an award winning and gifted instructor. Though accomplished in watercolor, he is a versatile artist in drawing, oils, Chinese brush painting, with a variety of subjects including landscape/urbanscapes, human figures and portraits, and still life.
