The Yorkie Who Sings at Midnight author Janne P. Swearengen will visit Selma, NC on Friday, Sept. 2.
From 10 am to noon, she will read and sign books for children and adults at Selma Public Library, 301 N. Pollock Street.
From 1 pm to 4 pm, Raylene Jessup will host a meet-and-greet for the author at Selma Cotton Mill Flea Market, 1105 W. Anderson Street. Janne will read and sign her books there as well. Selma Cotton Mill is home of Street Dogs and Stray Cats, a 501c3 nonprofit animal rescue service. Part of the book sales will be donated to the nonprofit.
If you've ever given your heart to an animal, especially a rescued animal, The Yorkie Who Sings at Midnight will speak to you.
