About the JCVB
Johnston County Visitors Bureau
The Johnston County Visitors Bureau (JCVB) promotes the county’s attractions, hotels, dining, shopping, events, and more. By marketing Johnston County to targeted visitors, the JCVB helps drive economic growth and enhance the overall experience for both tourists and residents.
The Visitors Bureau is funded by a 3% countywide hotel room tax paid by visitors. In addition, the towns of Kenly, Benson, Selma, Clayton, and Smithfield each have a 2% city hotel room tax dedicated to promoting their local tourism assets.
