Couple of Hours to Explore

If you are traveling through the county on I-95 or I-40 and can spare a couple of hours, we have prepared several short excursion itineraries for you.

If you have seen billboards for the Ava Gardner Museum, Bentonville Battlefield or Tobacco Farm Life Museum year after year, and even great outlet shopping at Carolina Premium Outlets or a local favorite, DeWayne's then now might be the time to add a couple of hours to your trip itinerary.

Spend the Day in JoCo

We are big supporters of our motto "Get Outside the City" to see what our rural communities have to offer. An abundance of small town charm and downtown experiences await you while getting out to the countryside in Johnston County includes historic sites, recreation, managed forests, and local farm experiences.
