The Benson Singing Grove, a two-acre park, is located one block from I-95, Exit 79 in Downtown Benson, one of North Carolina's most charming main street communities. The park is home to the annual Benson Mule Days activities and the State Singing Convention, a gospel singing competition and a tradition in Benson since 1922.Throughout the year the Singing Grove is the host venue for Movie Nights and Summer Concerts, and is very popular with families for birthday parties and family reunions.
The park offers a stage, picnic shelter for 80-100 people with grills, and a playground for children ages 2-12. Also located inside the park is a 600 sq.ft. multi-purpose room with a 720 sq. ft. stage attached, available for rent through the Benson Parks & Recreation Department.
