The main campus of Johnston Community College can accommodate large entertainment events ranging from 300-1000 people or small meetings and events ranging from 25-75 people. Meeting space is also available at other centers in the county including Howell Woods Environmental Learning Center, the Cleveland Center, and the Workforce Development Center.

Paul A. Johnston Auditorium

The Paul A. Johnston Auditorium is available for both ticketed and non-ticketed events on weekdays and weekends from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m., seven days a week, except for state holidays. The following items are included: wireless internet, most lighting; podium and microphone; speakers; hearing impaired system with 12 receivers.

Great Hall

The Great Hall, located in the Tart Building next to the Paul A. Johnston Auditorium, is available for rental in addition to or instead of the auditorium. This space has a total of 5031 square feet (39’ x 129’) and can be used for many different occasions including theater, classroom, or banquet settings.

Room C1111

Room C1111 is a large meeting space that can be used for a variety of occasions, including presentations, seminars, and meal functions.

Frank Creech Art Gallery (Temporarily Closed)

The 1,500-square-foot Frank Creech Art Gallery contains state-of-the-art exhibition space as well as a 750-foot reception area. The gallery interior is equipped with museum-quality lighting, climate control, hanging and security systems. This exhibition space is decorated with gray, hand-finished concrete floors, contemporary white walls, and distinct crown molding.
