By the end of the 1860s, the settlement of Pine Level, lying along the east-west railroad between Clayton and Boon Hill, seemed destined for incorporation. Pine Level became a municipality under state charter in 1874, and derived its name from its physical surroundings.

Today, visitors to Pine Level enjoy shopping at Pine Level Furniture, brunch at The Serving Spoon, and the vineyards and wine tasting events at Hinnant Winery. We invite you to stop and visit us in Pine Level soon, just 4 miles off of I-95, Exit 97.
