Can't Miss Music Festivals in JoCo
Beach Fest started in April of 2014 and just keeps growing. It's a great time to catch all your favorite beach music bands in one place: The Embers, Band of Oz, and Chairmen of the Board, to name a few. The Farm is a unique venue in Eastern, North Carolina - a small community locale attracting national acts. Along with a day full of beach music, Beach Fest goers will enjoy food trucks, games for kids, and craft vendors as well.
Mondo Roots is a cultural arts celebration held annually the first Saturday in June in Clayton. The festival includes varied musical performances, live art demonstrations, food trucks, craft beer, and local vendors. Past acts include Nappy Roots and Terminator X. With only 3,000 attendees (but growing) this Downtown Clayton festival offers you big-name artist in setting that gets you closer to the stage and the artist!
Farm Fest is a rockin' country music party; held in September every year it's a great way to kiss summer goodbye and say hello to autumn. The Farm, NC is a small town venue with a Nashville draw, and this open air concert space in Selma consistently books national acts for their annual music festival. Past acts include Florida Georgia Line, Scotty McCreery, Chris Janson, and LoneStar.
The Shindig is a one-day Americana music festival that takes place in Clayton the first Saturday in November every year with nationally-known bands, craft beer, food trucks, and local vendors. The event continues to expand every year both in size and in reputation. Their carefully curated line-ups and free ticket price have created a regional reputation. Past acts include The Steeldrivers, American Aquarium, Yarn, and Scythian.
