The citizens and businesses of Kenly welcome you! Widely known around here as Friendly Kenly – they are ready to help if your car breaks down, if you need a break from the road whether you are driving a big rig or car, or you are in the search of a bite to eat. The town has three exits along I-95, Exits 107, 106, 105, and a touch of local farming heritage as well.
The founders of the Tobacco Farm Life Museum believed that travelers along I-95 would enjoy meeting area farmers and learning about their lives. They were right and began giving on-farm tours to hundreds of interested visitors – long before the term agritourism was trendy. Today, the museum located at Exit 107, has a 6,000 square foot exhibit gallery, the Iredell-Brown homestead, restored tobacco barn, a pack-house, and schoolhouse all showcasing how families lived, worked, farmed, and worshiped in the early 1900s.

For truckers, RVs, and visitors making their way down I-95 in cars, Kenly has a variety of transportation service centers and truck stops at Exits 106 and 105. These travel plazas make great stops for gassing up, getting a bite to eat, and stretching your legs.
