Chicoli’s Cannolis offers handcrafted pastries inspired by generations of family recipes and the beloved Italian bakeries of Brooklyn. Rooted in tradition and made with care, each dessert reflects the flavors, techniques, and memories of old-world Italian pastry.
Founder Caitlin Chicoli, a Brooklyn native, spent the first thirty years of her life in Bensonhurst, surrounded by iconic neighborhood bakeries where standing in line was simply part of the holiday tradition. After nine years as a teacher and a life-changing multiple sclerosis diagnosis, Caitlin chose to follow a lifelong passion for baking and create something deeply personal and meaningful.
Together with her husband, Aaron, Caitlin opened Chicoli’s Cannolis with the goal of sharing their love of pastry while building a sense of community. The bakery’s offerings are inspired by family recipes and legendary Brooklyn institutions like Villabate Alba, Rimini, and West End Bakery. Imported ingredients and traditional techniques are used to ensure exceptional quality in every bite.
Chicoli’s Cannolis strives to enhance life’s special moments and turn ordinary days into something extraordinary—creating desserts so memorable that customers might one day complain about the wait and always keep cookies on hand “just in case.”
In addition to its signature pastries, the shop also features a curated selection of local vendors, offering a variety of handmade creations that celebrate and support the surrounding community.
