Meadow Lights is a community tradition and the largest Christmas Light display in eastern North Carolina. Ride the train, sit on Santa's lap and enjoy the old-fashion candy store with over 300 varieties to choose from. Lights are free and location is seven miles south of Benson on Hwy 50. A Civil War Christmas Holiday Open House at Bentonville Battlefield celebrates a Civil War Christmas with costumed interpreters decorating the kitchen with festive themes using natural materials such as holly, magnolia, cotton stalks, cranberry, fruits and popcorn strands. Free.
