Hinnant Family Vineyards and Winery, the largest muscadine vineyard in North Carolina with over 100 acres, is truly a tradition in the making. For over 30 years, the Hinnant Family has dedicated countless hours into cultivating the best quality muscadine grapes in the state. From their dry white and reds to the traditional sweet scuppernong grape, they catch a spectrum of flavors in their internationally award-winning wines.Wine tastings are held throughout the day seven days a week every 15 minutes. Wine tastings stop 45 minutes prior to closing and alcohol will not be served 15 minutes prior to closing. There is a fee for wine tastings. Take a tour of the vineyard at no charge.
Stop by the tasting room and gift shop to buy your favorite Hinnant wines, fruit juices, jellies, and specialty foods. You will also find unique wine related gifts and decorations for your home.
Pick-your-own or buy grapes directly from the vineyard in August, check with the vineyard for harvest dates. And speaking of harvest, Hinnant is a Harvest Hosts location. If you're an RV'er looking for somewhere unique to camp overnight, check them out.
