A North Carolina native, Robin Koppen graduated with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Journalism from Elon University. Upon graduation Robin spent a summer in Yellowstone National Park and two years later she moved to Colorado to pursue her writing career. She has worked in print media for over 10 years as a writer, photographer and award-winning graphic designer. 

Robin, her husband and two children moved to Clayton in 2010 and cemented themselves in the community as outdoor aficionados. When she isn’t juggling kids, writing, tutoring or teaching a yoga class, Robin loves bike riding, disc golf and playing her bass guitar. She also loves spending time with her beloved rescue dog, Lemmy.
