As the weather turns cool, and harvest season is all around us in Johnston County, thoughts turn to picking pumpkins, fire pits with s’mores, and breaking out the sweaters and jackets. As we invite visitors to “fall” back to JoCo after months of staying safe, reduced travel and so many cancellations, we have a variety of in-person, and virtual things to do this fall.
The resilience of our tourism partners astonishes us everyday, and we applaud new business owners opening their doors in these trying times. As well as, current businesses that have used that new word, “pivot” for changing up operations, launching new products when they couldn’t sell their current ones, and generally just hanging on in the most challenging crisis to ever hit the tourism industry.
So this fall, if you are a frequent visitor….welcome back or if you are visiting us for the first time…thank you!
